There are many choices between game controllers, such as PS Dualshock, XboxOne, Razor, and things made in China... I thought 'What is the point of choosing the controller?' , and I decided to get XboxOne's the first time. Before, I've used Sony Dualshock4 for several years with my PC. It's worked very well but It always requires some utilities (or drivers) for the controller. Furthermore, Some games isn't fit to some Utilities, it's so complicated sometimes.
So...I decided to get the nice one which is from the Elite bundle, but there were no more stock in the U.S From online websites, even many people are asking each other 'How can I find elite controller stock ...ect'..? THe answer is always "Be wait on or find some USED from ebay or craiglist. Yes. That's sure. However, the price is crazy. The MSRP of this controller is $149.99 as we know, when we go to some used market, it's over $180 or $200 lol! Oh, we can accept because the over-price means 'be worth it'...am I wrong?
I went to Bestbuy at near my location. There are over 10 boxes of the controller, it was funny. At the same time, one lady got 2 boxes very quickly..lol!
If I had enough dough, I cound got everything on the shelf, but I couldn't lol!! I would just buy for my friends and my cousin. But I just got one box and left for other gamer lol.
Anyway, let's take a look. The box art is very simple BW. Of course, the Elite bundlepac is based on just BW with XBOX console body and controller. FYI, there's no colors on ABXY buttons, Just light gray colored.
USB cable and batteries. The cable is a little bit roug-fablic. I wouldn't say it good. I believe cables are always be soft and flexible, it alway be.
The cable's used by user who want to use wired controller with PC or Xbox. But I would say, 'Wireless controlling is pretty better.'
I've used many controllers since I met 8-bit game consoles such as Famicom. '+' is the key for move, 'A,B' buttons for actions ( Jump, attack, shoot ect) usually. I know there are bunch of controllers and there are very different sensitivity between different things. Sony PS Dualshock was very good, and the next was Xbox 360.
By the way, Xbox 360's '+' move key wasn't make sure input each directions definitly. Xbox One controller modified the '+' key, it's better. Furthermore, This elite controller gives a new way of the controllers with circle-type cover. I love this. I feel this '+' key cover is the strongest point of the elite controller.
The second, The custom analog sticks by user. Three types of sticks are different shape and height (two are simillar). No bolts, no fix, just simple-quick magnetic type. And put on the sticks, even if you use thouse hard and rough, it never put off from the analog stick root. Nice shape and design with user's convinience.
Bumpers and triggers are also nice. These are not a steel but it makes feeling strong enough and comport.
360 and One controllers, bumper buttons are little bit harder to push buttons, but Elite is very satisfied with pushing control.
Paddles can be replaced the same X,Y,A,B. For example, some action games such as 'Wicher' , A button often use. And the camera sight control with Right analog stick. Using the stick and A button at the same time - this is a little bit tricky. In this case, the paddle can be replaced same 'A', and using buttons and sticks is easier. Because gaming controller is based on using one finger.
